We know how hard it is to try out a new thing, much less a new church. What do I wear? What do they believe? Will I know anyone there? How do I get to know others in my stage of life? There are a lot of unknowns. However, we can answer a few of those here to help you feel comfortable before you even walk in the door (hopefully soon)!

WHERE DO I GO?

Look for the orange tent! The person standing next to it will be ready to help you find your way around with ease. They'll help you find restrooms, Kids Check-In areas, and even coffee or tea! Just walk up and say “I’m new!” We’ll take care of the rest.

How Do our Services Work?

We know that every church is a little bit different - and that is awesome! Here are some things that make us who we are.

What is the service like, and how long?

Our service typically lasts for one hour. We have a live worship band and powerful messages to encourage you in your journey with Christ. We speak to your best - not your worst.

What are the people like?

Our people are some of the friendliest on the planet! We have a lot of thirty-somethings with kids, but we also have singles, empty-nesters, and senior adults. No matter what stage you’re in, there’s someone here like you and they can’t wait to meet you!

What do I wear?

What you wear isn’t a big deal at all at City Light (as long as you’re wearing something)! We have folks in flip-flops and shorts in the summer and some are more business casual or in jeans. We’re pretty relaxed.

What do you offer for kids?

We have an age-appropriate program designed for birth through high school. Our kids and student teams are creative, fun and ready to serve your family.
